Wine and Dine Tour - 5 Days / 4 Nights
Day 1 - Arrive in late afternoon, get comfortable, and join us for a welcome reception ~ wine tasting. At 6:00 enjoy pairing meal with tasty delights and great wines.
Day 2 - Enjoy our European breakfast buffet. Join the group for a tour of Convict Lake Resort, the Lakes Basin, Mammoth Mountain Ski Area ~ including a scenic gondola ride, view Minaret Vista and enjoy a gourmet boxed lunch. See an earthquake fault, returning to the hotel about 3:30-4. Relax or stroll the path by Mammoth Creek pre-dinner. 5:45 departure for an incredible dinner at one of Mammoth's most renown restaurants. We have chosen fabulous venues for all dinners to please most palates and discriminating thirsts. Our choices include a combination of world famous foods, views, and/or chefs written about in many publications such as Bon Appetite, Gourmet, Chefs, and more. The wine knowledge and food pairing is a bonus, too!
Day 3 - Start your day with our European breakfast buffet before heading to Yosemite. Tour the High Sierra Lakes (Ellery), Tenaya Lake, Discovery View, stop at Bridal Veil Falls, lunch at the Historic Awahnee Hotel, view Yosemite Falls, shuttle to Visitors Center and see the Ansel Adams Gallery, Indian Village and Yosemite Museum. Enjoy the spirit of Yosemite Film. View Half Dome with a spectacular view - sometimes a setting sun. Delight in a creative dinner at the famous Mono Inn and Gallery. View the art on display and return to the hotel by 9:30.
Day 4 - Breakfast at our buffet before heading off for the days adventure. Tour Mammoth's Scenic Loop, see Obsidian Dome, June Lake Village, Silver Lake, and stop to enjoy the North Shores of Mono Lake for a picnic lunch. See the unique Tufa Towers and return to the hotel about 3:30-4:00. At 6:00 yet another incredible dinner. Following dinner enjoy port & dessert at the restaurant ~ or possible another venue. Return to the hotel by 9:30.
Day 5 - Enjoy your last breakfast at The Inn. Depart for the scenic ride home - and enjoy a stop for lunch at a great local's 'secret' place.
